This apartment has everything you need to make the ultimate enjoyable stay.

Die moderne Loftwohnung über zwei Stockwerke ist sehr praktisch und ansprechend. Von der Wohnung aus kann man alles in der Altstadt und am Hafen leicht erreichen. Chinatown ist ganz nah. Schlüßelübergabe und Abgabe problemlos. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
I would give this rating a zero if it would let me. However the lowest I can rate is a 1 star.
Just to let everyone know this "apartment" doesn't look like the photos attached to it.
Upon arriving at the apartment on May 25th at approximately 2:15pm we contact Mirna to see about checking in and getting parking. She didn't respond to a text so we decided to call her. She advised me that she would need a credit card number for the parking incase we lost the parking permit. I texted her my friends US credit card number as security, she advised me over the phone that we could park anywhere but where it said reserved. I then proceeded to go into the building to get access to the parking. With no direction being offered my husband and I spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot. I finally got fed up and went back inside, only to be told that I needed a key to get in. (take into account that this was my 3rd time going in to management in the 30 mins). the manager finally was able to give me the keys to the apartment which contained the key to the garage and were told that we needed to go into the second parking garage not the first which we were originally told to go into, and to park our vehicle in spot 63, we went into the parking garage and in trying to locate spot 63, i was forced to get out of my vehicle as the ceiling was extremely low. Once I was able to locate spot 63 both my husband and I noticed that we would not be able to get our Journey to it without taking the roof off. We opted to park our vehicle in another unmarked spot and let management know.
We the proceeded to unload our vehicle and headed into the apartment. Needless to say I was very upset when I walked into the room and noticed that there was 1 double futon and a "hotel" size queen bed which is just slightly bigger than a double. I specifically booked this apartment for the king size bed.
There is no king size bed, no table at the windows no carpeting. When you contact Mirna you are called a liar and told that it is Wimdu who writes the description of the apartment. She becomes very angry with you and when you get angry back she hangs up on you.
Mirna will offer to give you an EMT, once you agree she will not stick to her end of the deal and will end up screwing you over while you are in Montreal.
Below is a stream of texts which took place between Mirna and myself after I called her on the fact that there is no King size bed, no window table and chairs and that the room sounded like I was in a tin can. Just and FYI I have confirmation from the manager in the office that the pictures are from another apartment.
Mirna: I can only speak when you are calm
Me: refund my money or I am calling a lawyer
Me: I have given the keys back
Mirna : I am trying to call you, |i need to know if you have a pay pal account to give back what you paid
(side note my phone never rang once from her)
me: No refund it to my credit card exactly like you charged it to
Mirna: I was not the one who charged your credit card windy does.
Mirna: I only used credit card to charge you for parking
Me: well I do not have a PayPal account so unless you want to give me cash I will give you the credit card number it was charged to
Mirna: I can email transfer you the amount
Me: Fine my email is [email protected]
Mirna: Did you check out
Me: 20mins ago
Mirna: Did you give back the parking pass
Mirna: I have refunded back the 60$ for parking to the credit card you gave me Auth number is ###### And I have refunded you the wimdu payment to the same credit card Auth number is ######
Me: That isn't the credit card taht was used. I agreed to an email money transfer
Mirna: I refunded back to the one I know
Me: we agreed to a email money transfer
Mirna: I am unable to make and email transfer since the owner is not in Montreal
Mirna: I have no access to his bank acvount
Me: Yeah and I won't get that money for over 2 weeks as its a us credit card. Now I am stuck in Montreal with no money and no hotel
Me: and you should have told me I even offered to give you the number for the card it was charged to
Mirna: What exactly do you want me to do
Mirna: I cannot give it back to the same credit card because I have no authorization number to begin with because wimdu has it
me: on that logic how were you able to refund it to the other card then
Mirna: I am trying to help
Me: You said you were going to EMT it, we agreed, You shouldn't have offered it if you couldn't do it
Me: Now you have processed a refund to a credit card which it wasn't originally charged to and because of false ad I'm trapped in \Montreal with no money and no place to stay
Mirna: Sorry I wasn't able to access the account as my boss change it frequently and he is out of the country at the momen
Me: So then I'm screwed. I will be talking with Wimdu and a lawyer
Mirna: What exactly do you want I gave you your money back and all you asked for
Me: No you sent money back to a card which isn't even the right card instead of doing what you said you would do
At this point Mirna stopped responding. I did send Wimdu an email complaint regarding the apartment and to date have only received to responses from them 1 saying they received it, 2 saying they were extremely busy.
Due to the bs I went through we were literally stranded in Montreal with no place. Most hotels wanted between $250-$400/night and were not able to let us stay beyond Wednesday Morning. We needed to stay until Thursday morning. After searching for over an hour we finally found a great little hotel called Hotel A2K. I would recommend anyone traveling to Montreal to check out this hotel. The rates are amazing $89/night for a King and $11/day for parking. The hotel staff also does what they say they will do and they make you feel welcome and very comfortable, unlike Mirna.
I would not recommend this apartment or WIMDU to my worst enemy. Stick with hotels...they atleast can help you out if something is wrong with the room you have booked instead of being kicked to the curb and basically being to go F yourself
The communication with Sammy (our host) is a bit difficult.
The appartment is nice, big enough for 5 people and very well located. Clearly a good stay for us!

Dans l'ensemble bel appartement, bien situé, quartier calme. Malheureusement appartement dans un état qui laisse à désirer à certains endroits ( salle de bain, prises électriques, poussière, serrure à changer en castastrophe le soir..) et propriétaire invisible. Nous avons tout de même apprécié notre séjour.
Malheureusement nous n'avons jamais rencontré notre hôte qui manifestement avait oublié notre venue. Le ménage n'avait pas été fait et nous n'avons pas pu le joindre au téléphone. Nous ne pouvons que donner un avis défavorable sur cet appartement car nous n'avons même pas pu y dormir. Il est fort regrettable de tomber sur quelqu'un d'aussi désorganisé. Nous déconseillons bien sûr ce logement. Nous regrettons que l'interlocuteur anglophone chargé du service d'urgence n'ait fait aucun effort pour nous comprendre et manifestement ne nous comprenait pas non plus alors que nous parlons anglais. Nous attendons le remboursement de Wimdu ainsi qu'un dédommagement auquel nous avons droit pour les préjudices subis.
Appartement bien situé et fonctionnel. Déçu à notre arrivé lorsque nous avons appris qu'il n'y avait pas de piscine intérieur comme décrite lors de notre réservation.
Die Wohnung war an sich sehr hübsch und gemütlich und von der Lage optimal, allerdings war die Einrichtung eher in einem desolaten Zustand. Auch ließ die Reinlichkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig, Möbel waren staubig und im Badezimmer mussten wir noch die Haare vom Vormieter wegsaugen.
Ansonsten haben wir den Aufenthalt in Montreal sehr genossen und werden auch bei gegebenen Anlass wieder auf Angebote von Wimdu zurückgreifen.
Appartement très agréable, confortable et très bien situé dans un des quartiers les plus dynamique de Montréal. Une chose surprenante quand même, nous n'avons vu personne, ni à notre arrivée, ni à notre départ. Les seuls échanges avec Le propriétaire se sont faits par mail, c'est un peu désorientant mais peut être que nous n'avons pas l'habitude . Aucun état des lieux n'est fait, donc tout est basé sur une confiance mutuelle.
Nous n'avons eu aucun problème et notre séjour s'est parfaitement déroulé . Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce lieu.
