Set within the well-maintained 'St James' security complex, this fully furnished and tastefully renovated 1 bedroom apartment is perfectly located on the CBD periphery close to Hyde Park and amidst Stanley Street's vibrant restaurant strip.
Generous internal area with high ceilings the apartment is the epitome of Art Deco. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and gas cook top and a front load washer/dryer.
The combined Lounge/dining area is light filled and incorporates a wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player, high speed Wi-Fi, and Blu Ray disc player.
The bedroom has built in robes and is serviced by a fully renovated bathroom. The apartment has timber floors and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. There is a study nook.
St James has a rooftop terrace where you can bask in the sun and enjoy the superb city views.
As with all properties managed by World Apartments guests will find iron & ironing board, all towels & linen, all kitchenware and vacuum cleaner.

We viewed the apartment very highly when we chose it, and we was not disappointed, it was found very clean, and details to comfort was well thought out
Both music disks,TV, Wi Fi, and great views from great balconies. We arrived at
Main office on route to obtain keys, and was friendly greated and speedily assisted
To our waiting taxi to Fantastic Darliing Harbour. A truly great holiday.
I realized that I had to go to another place to collect the key after I arrived the accomodation. The owner said that he already gave me the email to inform the imformation.but I have never get the email. I SWEAR!!
AND YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA as cleaning fee.
It has been pleasurable to stay in this apartment which allowed us to have a great holidays. The balcony opens on a quite street which is very pleasant for a meal in fresh air. The air conditioning is quite and effective and the glass sliding door sound proof. so city noises hasn't been an issue.
The gym is well equipped and with a sona room. The pool and spa were very cold (sept) and the BBQ out of order.
Make sure you address all your enquiries at Wundu as you are not clients of the building management team. We were supplied with linen for 2 even we had booked for 4 guests.
Overall, good value for money.
Close to transport and many parks, lovely bakery around corner and convenient store with internet.
Very clean & good location. Only problem was setting timer on oven as power had been off. (Push first two buttons and last together)
Would consider staying here again.

A good sized apartment in a fantastic location, right on Hyde Park This was an ideal location for getting around the city's many tourist sites; it was also well placed for Central Station trains. The apartment was comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
The apartment is very good situated nearby central station. We could easyly get to all places we wanted to visit. Everything we needed was there. But it was not very comfortable to get the key at a different place far away, where the lady couldn´t tell us the way to the apartment. It is only possible by going by taxi. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much.
The apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable although could do with being updated. The apartment had excellent views of Sydney. There was no information in the apartment about local amenities, such as how to get to the opera house, nearest supermarket, train station etc, The administration company for the apartment on our arrival were very poor,we rang ahead when we arrived at the Airport as requested by the office several days prior, no body answered so we had to leave a message on the answer phone, unaware if they had received this or not, we took a taxi to the apartment via the office, on arrival the office was locked up, no staff around, I had a taxi waiting on yellow lines! after about 5 minutes a member of staff appeared, extremely flustered as he had been in the pub and hadnt seen our taxi pull up! The key hand over was very rushed to the extent they omitted to tell us the number on the keyring with the room key was not the number of the apartment! Once we discovered this at the apartment, I asked the reception for assistance and was met by a very rude woman who basically told us she was busy, go away and I will speak to you when I am free, she did have enough time to point me to a road that had a pay phone! I then tried the emergency number I had for the office several times, without success nobody answered it. The said receptionist thought better of her actions and decided she would assist us. Thank god we had arrived on a domestic flight to Sydney not after our 20hour flight from the UK! Be warned if you stay here over a weekend, the pub next door is very noisy and the apartment has an extremely noisy neighbour who likes to party until 4am! Please allow about 60 dollars for a taxi from the airport, they dont like waiting around and will charge you! We did enjoy our stay in Sydney just a shame we were so tired due to the neighbour!
Great location, would stay again
Carpet needs to be deodorized as smells when windows are closed but soon disappears after opening windows . New pillows would be welcome
